What's common between every Yash Raj film and most recently OM SHANTI OM, SAAWARIYA and DHAN DHANA DHAN GOAL?
Each of these films have contributed to headlines with their multiplex release being highlighted as a point of contention.
Revenue sharing along with figures like 40%, 45%, 50% etc, are thrown in like freebies and 'aam junta' with hardly much insight about the whole business model is entertained with 'will it / won't it release at multiplex' newsbytes.
Thankfully AAJA NACHLE is now coming sans any noise as there hasn't been any apparent multiplex-release issue. There may have been some behind the door conversations but none have made it to the media with battle cries being made audible.
In fact advance booking for AAJA NACHLE has already opened at number of multiplex chains (including PVR) which has come across as a welcome relief. That's because in the recent past, for some movies, patrons had to make a sudden rush to the booking counters to catch hold of their first day first show tickets due to late opening of advance booking counters at the multiplexes.
