GAYAB, KYA KOOL HAI HUM, GOLMAAL and DHOL - What's common in all these films?
Two things; firstly each of these are comedies and secondly they star Tusshar Kapoor.
Except for GOOD BOY BAD BOY that didn't quite work at the box office, Tusshar Kapoor has seen almost each of his comedies doing decent to very good business. Priydarshan's DHOL is the latest addition to the list which has gone on to do close to Rs. 10 crore business in the first week from India alone.
Though Tusshar did get some decent appreciation for his mentally disturbed young man act in AGGAR, 'bhai' act in SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA and Rajkumar Santoshi's KHAKEE which saw him as a vulnerable cop, he appears to be most natural when it comes to comedies. His upcoming laugh riots like ONE TWO THREE and GOLMAAL RETURNS should only prove the point further.
