The much touted 'Eid' clash between T-Series' Akshay, Shiney, Vidya, Amisha, Paresh and Rajpal starrer, BHOOL BHULAIYAA and Yash Raj's Jaya, Rani, Konkona, Kunal and Abhishek (extended special appearance) starrer, LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG, has fizzled out to be a one sided affair.

As per the first day stats, BHOOL BHULAIYAA has embarked on an 80-90 percent start as opposed to the barely 25 percent opening by LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG. However, trade and distribution sources are hopeful that the situation can change from 'Eid' day and LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG may do a turnaround, based on word-of-mouth.

Just for records, BHOOL BHULAIYAA has been released with a high number of 650 prints, while Yash Raj have gone in for a select release with around 400-450 prints, just like their last blockbuster, CHAK DE! INDIA.
