SET has acquired the exclusive World Satellite rights of the five blockbuster movies from India's premiere banner Yash Raj Films. The impressive line up from the Yash Raj Films stable this year includes - CHAK DE INDIA, TARA RUM PUM, JHOOM BARABAR JHOOM, the recently released LAAGA CHUNARI MAIN DAAG and the much anticipated come back film of Madhuri Dixit AAJA NACHLE.

Commenting on the acquisition Kunal Dasgupta, CEO, SET India Pvt. Ltd. says, "Yash Raj Films has been on the forefront of the Indian Entertainment Industry for the last five decades. These acquisitions underline the fact that we believe in bringing only the biggest and the best of entertainment to our viewers. This also reaffirms the strong relationship we share with eminent producer - director Mr. Yash Chopra since well over a decade. We are proud that the association continues on and here's hoping for many more!"

Says Mr. Yash Chopra, "I have shared an excellent relationship with SET over the last 11 years and in continuation of that association we have finalized this five film deal with SET. We are happy to showcase these films on SET which provides a great platform for the television premiere of the films."

CHAK DE! INDIA has become the mantra of our nation today, having made a powerful impact on many lives. In fact, it has taken over where the 'Gandhigiri' fever left off. It's a straightforward and hard-hitting film that has captivated audiences and has taken the national game of Hockey and its players to a higher level of recognition. Today however "Chak De" is not only referred to in the context of hockey but any sport in which India excels. Riding high on its recent achievement of the best film award at the fifth Australian Indian Film Festival (AIFF) in Sydney, the movie has already achieved cult status amongst the nation's youth.
