Subhash Ghai and Manish Goswami join hands

Manish GoswamiSubhash Ghai and television producer Manish Goswami have joined hands to float a new banner called Red Carpet Films. The duo will produce four films a year, the first of which will roll early next year.

Says Goswami, "My association with Subhash Ghai goes back a long way. Our families have known each other even before the partition. We had been talking about doing something and Red Carpet is a result of it. Our first film will go on the floors around February."

Manish Goswami is known for serials like Swabhimaan, Kittie Party, Sarrkaar, Aisa Desh Hai Mera and Kittu Sab Janti Hain, produced under the banner of his Siddhant Cinevision.

Red Carpet Films will have Subhash Ghai holding a 50.1 per cent of the stake while Manish Goswami has 49.9 per cent. At the moment, Red Carpet films are in the process of setting up a team of scriptwriters and directors on board.
