While speculations were rife from close to two years, the former 'Dream Girl' has made it official in New Delhi, yesterday. As per Delhi based media sources, 15-years after DIL AASHNA HAI (Shah Rukh Khan and Divya Bharti), Hema Malini will wield the megaphone once again. The project in question will feature the ageless diva Rekha, along with Abhishek Bachchan and obviously Hema's daughter, Esha Deol.

Elaborating further, Hema said that the subject is about the relationship between two ladies from different generations, who are connected through classical music and do not play mother and daughter. She also clarified that she will not be acting in the movie.

Before we wind up, may we request Hema ji to please rope in Mr. Amitabh Bachchan for a special appearance, just for nostalgia!
