An official has confirmed that the next overseas release of Studio 18 - Viacom 18 for the Indian Film Company (IFC) will be the keenly anticipated mega-budget rom-com, JAB WE MET (literally meaning, When We Met), featuring real-life (allegedly) love birds and stars, SHAHID KAPUR and KAREENA KAPOOR.

JAB WE MET is a light breezy saga about young love against a cultural North-Indian backdrop with music by Pritam, whose recent compositions in AWARAPAN, DHOOM:2 and KYA LOVE STORY HAI, to name a few, have rocked the charts.

JAB WE MET marks the return of the romantic duo earlier seen in the box-office hits, CHUP CHUP KE and 36 CHINA TOWN (2005), with Shahid's previous solo smash hit being VIVAAH (2006).

JAB WE MET will have a wide release worldwide on October 26, with the possibility of advance previews in the UK on October 25. The soundtrack releases worldwide on T-Series on September 20.
