An avalanche of film releases was expected with as many as 10 films in the pipeline for the last two Fridays of September. Thankfully good sense has prevailed and four films have opted out of the race and would now be coming at later dates.
CHHODON NAA YAAR was all set to release today but its release has been moved all the way to 5th October. A good decision since the film looks decent and can now expect to be backed by reasonable promotion.
The biggest churn has been witnessed for next weekend though with only 2 films in fray from an original plan of 5 releases. Out of JOHNNY GADDAAR, DIL DOSTI ETC., GO, SPEED and PHIR TAUBA TAUBA, only the first two are finally arriving on 28th September.
While GO comes along with CHHODON NAA YAAR on 5th October, SPEED has been pushed to 19th October. Currently, there is no sign of PHIR TAUBA TAUBA though.
Other major releases in the month of October are BHOOL BHULAIYAA, LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG, JAB WE MET and NO SMOKING.
