The response to the 'Hare Krishna Hare Ram' song from BHOOL BHULAIYAA was excellent and as a result, not only did the movie get hyped, the audio sales started on a very bright note. The superb picturisation, showing Akshay Kumar grooving to some infectious and rhythmic music, with a bevy of foreign beauties, caught the fancy of the audience.
Surprisingly, the very next song, the highly romantic 'Labon Pe' (picturised on Shiney and Vidya), somehow threw a spanner in the way that the audience had perceived the movie. The enthusiasm for the film waned a bit. A section of the trade feels that people got the impression that Akshay was not in a major role in the film and focus was on the Shiney-Vidya pair.
Thankfully, the makers realized their mistake and brought the focus back on Akshay Kumar with the very next song promo, 'Allah Hafiz'. It shows the 'khiladi' in his elements, as he reaches India (from US) and is on way to his friend's (Shiney) village in Rajasthan.
It seems like on both the occasions, it was divine intervention that bode well for the October 12 release!
