Jingle composer Ram Sampath had filed a case against the director/producer Rakesh Roshan and musician Rajesh Roshan for copying the tunes composed by him without his consent and any credits to him. As the Roshans did not give him any credits for the music of KRAZZY 4, he claimed an amount of Rs 2 crores against the Roshans for the damages.
The Bombay High Court today ruled that two songs from KRAZZY 4 the title track 'Krazzy 4 'and 'BreakFree' are to be deleted if the makers want to release the film. "The movie can be released without the songs in question," Justice D G Karnik said.
Though the court ruled in favour of Sampath but it seems Roshans did not want to take any chance with KRAZZY 4 and get it stuck. So, as per the latest reports the two parties Roshans (Rakesh & Rajesh) and Sampath has agreed an out-of-court settlement to solve the issue. Considering the same, now the case has been dismissed. However it is still unclear at what amount the two parties resolved their issues.
