CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA has truly turned out to be an international project. While it brings together Rohan Sippy and Nikhil Advani in the capacity of a producer and a director, it has the backing of none less than Warner Bros. who are looking at making a big entry into Bollywood with this film.

Yes, the international production/distribution house did begin its Bollywood foray with SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX a few months back but CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA is the real big deal when it comes to the scale at which Warner Bros. is looking at unveiling the film across globe. Moreover, due to the fact that the film has been shot in an elaborate way across India, China and Thailand, CC2C has indeed 'crossed over'.

'It is the sign of good times that the industry is reaching so far out today. The kind of big release that we are looking at is coming due to the very fact that the industry is widening up. For a film that has been made at such a huge scale and comes with a grand canvas, it was required to have an established film making house which could facilitate a big release. We needed a huge distribution network and Warner Bros. has come in pretty handy', says Rohan Sippy who is also happy with the fact that his father Ramesh Sippy is attached to a film which is looking at international audience.

'I feel happy to have my father's name against CC2C', says Rohan emotionally, 'It was very important to have his stamp on a film which is going to be shown across the globe.''
