An intense and passionate romantic actor – this is how Emraan Hashmi has been known as ever since he arrived on the scene a few years back. While Emraan has been known for igniting passion on screen with his romantic portrayal, for the first time ever he would be seen in an out and out horror flick. While being in a romantic mood on and off the screen is still quite a pleasant possibility for an actor, how difficult was it for Emraan Hashmi to get back to a normal state once a shot was canned for RAAZ – THE MYSYERY CONTINUES? Wasn't it difficult to completely ignore the spooky ambience created for the film's shoot once pack–up was announced?

'I am basically a big time fan of horror so it wasn't quite tough to switch on and off. Yes, things did turn scary sometimes but I could live with that because I am pretty much cued with the world of horror flicks and so is Mohit Suri, the film's director', says Emraan Hashmi from Hong Kong where he is currently vacationing with his wife.

'Both Mohit and I have seen the right kind of cinema and hence could ensure that RAAZ – THE MYSTERY CONTINUES keeps the balance right. If treated wrongly, horror films can really go overboard, so we had to be extra careful. There are movies like EXORCIST or OMEN series that stay back with you long after you have finished watching them; you cannot forget the visuals from these classics.'

So has the team of RAAZ – THE MYSTERY CONTINUES attempted something similar?

'Yes, we have made an attempt to create images that really stick to your head for hours. We have tried to make sure that audience is spooked in a big way. Only select film makers have been really successful in getting a story into audience's conscience; Mohit hopefully has managed to do that', concludes Emraan.
