Jimmy Shergill couldn’t control his laughter when congratulated for two supposedly new films that he has signed - FLAG and MUMBAI KATIN!
'Where did you hear these names', asks Jimmy, 'What is the meaning of 'katin' by the way?'
On being informed that media reports had been indicating the same in print as well as TV channels, he sighs, 'This is what happens when you go to press conferences, make statements and some scribes don't take down their notes well.'
Jimmy goes on to explain, 'It's FLAT and MUMBAI CUTTING, not FLAG and MUMBAI KATIN. FLAT is the first true blue super natural film I am doing where a flat, obviously, has a major role to play. On the other hand MUMBAI CUTTING is a project that has 11 mini stories centered on Mumbai. I am the lead actor in one of these 11 stories. Rahul Dholakia, with whom I had worked earlier in KEHTA HAI DIL BAAR BAAR, has directed my short story where I am paired with Neetu Chandra.'
