After the success of MITHYA, Planman Motion Pictures are gearing up for a mega film festival in coming months. This Arindam Chaudhuri driven production house would now be unveiling at least three more films in the coming months. To add to the fun, each of the films belongs to a different genre altogether that gets a spice in the proceedings. These films are I AM 24, THE LAST LEAR and SUNGLASS.

Directed by Saurabh Shukla who in the past has directed a dramatic MUDDA - THE ISSUE and a thrilling CHEHRAA, I AM 24 is a comedy about a middle aged man (Rajat Kapoor). Promising to be a laugh fest, the film boasts of a now famous team comprising of Neha Dhupia, Manjari Phadnism Vijay Raaz, Lilette Dubey and Delnaz Paul. Wish the film had regulars like Ranvir Shorey and Vinay Pathak though!

Another film to arrive would be PLANMAN's most ambitious film till date - THE LAST LEAR. The film is said to boast of Amitabh Bachchan's best performance ever, something that even surpasses the actor's efforts in BLACK. Directed by Rituparno Ghosh, this film based on Utpal Dutt's play 'Aajker Shahjahan' has received a standing ovation wherever it has been played internationally.

The production house is waiting for the ripe time to bring the film on Indian screens. Though belonging to offbeat genre, the film is not short of star power as it boasts of the likes of Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal and Prosenjit.

Third release of PLANMAN in coming months would be SUNGLASS which is yet another directorial venture of Rituparno Ghosh. A comedy cum fantasy, the film comes with an interesting catch line - WEAR IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. The film boasts of a formidable cast which includes Konkona Sen Sharma, Naseruddin Shah, Jaya Bachchan, Raima Sen and Madhavan. A bilingual in Bengali and Hindi, SUNGLASS brings together Konkona Sen and Jaya Bachchan once again after LAAGA CHUNARI MEIN DAAG.

Meanwhile, coming to MITHYA, exhibitors are showing confidence in this Ranvir Shorey-Neha Dhupia starrer and have decided to continue screening the film at a reasonable number of print as it enters into its third week.
