AL RISALAHBig Music and Home Entertainment has released the audio of AL RISALAH, the blockbuster movie on the times and teachings of the Prophet of Islam.

Directed by Mustapha Akkad, one of the pioneering Arabic directors, AL-RISALAH can best be described as an epic. Beautiful cinematography, a wonderful script, terrific acting, stunning locations - the movie is a MUST-SEE and MUST-HAVE for all.

Director Moustafa Akkad wanted the story to be told in English, so people all around the world could enjoy it. Also, he felt he needed to pay a tribute to the Middle East, where it took place. Two different versions of the film (one in English and the other in Arabic), were shot simultaneously, scene by scene. Two completely different sets of actors shared the same set; once a scene had been established, one actor would play a character in one language, and then the whole scene re-shot with his corresponding number speaking in the other language. The main (English) version was released as THE MESSAGE, while the Arabic version became AL-RISALAH.

Best summarized as 'The story of Islam', put in its best form on motion picture and released for the first time in Hindi, the big strength of the movie is the simply amazing soundtrack. The movie includes the Hit song 'Marhaba Mustapha', composed and sung by A R Rahman. The lyrics of the song are by Hazrat Khaja Sayed Sha Ameenulla Hussainy R.A.

Although there is only one song in the movie, the audio CD of AL RISALAH contains additional content including songs, teachings and preaching's.

Syed Ahmed has penned 4 songs which have been composed by Raj Verma. Mohd Salamat has put his heart and soul in the rendition of the songs. 'Ya Rasoole Khudha' and 'Nabiyun Ke Nabi' stand out for the calming effect it has on the listeners. 'Ya Rasoole Khudha' has been composed by Liyakat Ajmeri with lyrics by Abid Imtiyaz. The dedication and passion of the composers, lyricists and singers can be distinctly made out. The entire audio compilation is a testimonial of the hard work that has gone in the compositions.

'Story Of Islam & Teachings of Prophet as it appears in AL RISALAH is a seventeen minute discourse which is the essence of the movie. There are quotes from the Prophet. Azaan and Suraahs from Holy Quran, Maurice Jarre's original welcome Arabic songs, the Original sound of triumphant return to Mecca in Arabic - all of these and more form the audio offering.
