Ranvir Shorey would soon be seen in the film MITHYA which is all set to release on 8th February. But are you aware that the film was earlier titled VK KI KAHANI?

Why VK? Because in the film, the name of central protagonist (played by Ranvir) is called VK. VK is a simpleton who visits Mumbai to make it big but eventually gets trapped in big bad world called underworld. The games played around him and an unexpected accident changes not just his life, but everyone else involved around him, hence forming a major part of VK's life!

The film is already making waves in the industry circles since it brings together Ranvir Shorey along with Vinay Pathak again after the super success of last year's BHEJA FRY. The film is directed by Rajat Kapoor whose last directorial outing was MIXED DOUBLES which released two years back. Incidentally, he was one of the lead protagonists in BHEJA FRY as well.

MITHYA also stars Naseruddin Shah, Neha Dhupia, Harsh Chhaya and Saurabh Shukla.
