Rajat Kapoor directed MITHYA (The Imposter Who Wasn't) is all set for release on 8th February. Starring Naseeruddin Shah, Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak and Neha Dhupia in main roles, the film is a satire on the Mumbai underworld and boasts of a delightful mix of comedy, drama and even slapstick humor.

However, for those who came in late, MITHYA has already been screened at the 9th Osian's-Cinefan film festival around 6 months back. At the event, the film had met with a great applause with audience as well as critics going gaga over the content and narration.

MITHYA narrates the story VK (Ranvir Shorey), an aspiring actor, who comes to Mumbai with dreams of becoming a superstar but eventually ends up becoming a reluctant impostor in a dramatic turn of events.
