Nakuul Mehta, a descendent from the Royal family of Udaipur, Rajasthan, is making his debut in the film industry with Kumar Mangat's production HAAL-E-DIL, presented by Eros, starring himself and Kumar Mangat's daughter Amita Pathak.
Nakuul has always been part of the showbiz; he did almost 50 commercials for top brands as well as leads in music video before getting into films. Not only this but to hone up his acting skills, Nakuul has worked in Hindi, Urdu and English plays under the direction of popular names in theatre like Om Katare, Mujeeb Khan, Joy Fernandes and Sanjay Srinivas. "That's been my training school for big screen," this tawny eyed actor smilingly says. Instead of joining the acting classes Nakuul preferred to do active theatre.
A trained dancer for dance forms like Jazz, Hip hop, break, folk, salsa and contemporary, this handsome hunk is all set to win the hearts of movie goers. He has also been a core member of Bombay playback association and continues to be so, which is the only theatre outfit working on improvisational theatre.
HAAL-E-DIL is scheduled to release on 20th June 2008.
