Aamir takes on a rally!
May 23, 2008 8:31:25 PM IST Bollywood Trade News Network
Recently Aamir Khan and his gang of friends were seen in a cheery mood heading towards cinema hall to catch up for a movie. The gang had to stop in between for the passing rally (probably a political one). As Aamir and his group tried to move forward they were precluded and barred from moving. The gang also didn't want to stay back as they were getting late for the movie and at any cost they didn't want to miss the beginning. Initially Aamir didn't react to it; he was in his cool munching biscuits and having an eye on the entire scene.
Suddenly Aamir thought of an idea and promised his friends that they will not miss the beginning. Now the prankster that Aamir is came forward with an amusing ruse to get rid of the situation. It happened so that Aamir and his friends made people around them believe that they were carrying a huge sheet of glass so they needed space to move. And very firmly they managed to carry the glass on the other side of the road. The crowd, who earlier didn't allow them to move, now parted to make way for them. Later, it was revealed that was no glass and was only a make belief prank played on the rally.
Before you start to tittle-tattle about the incident, we would also like to reveal that this was just an ad film for Parle Monaco wherein the actor was required to act witty in the particular situation. Recently Aamir, the new ambassador for Parle Monaco, did an ad film for Parle Monaco depicting the humour element in a subtle manner.
The creative directors Vipin Dhyani and Chetan Jagtap have put their strategy well in place. They deliberately chose Aamir, who according to them stands the perfect epitome to bring out the humour element effortlessly.
Seems like Aamir is getting back to his elements with all those infamous pranks he did in the films like QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK, DIL, HUM HAIN RAAHI PYAAR KE, JO JEETA WOHI SIKANDER, DIL CHAHTA HAI, etc.
