Young Sameer Dattani has finally made a choice. And now he is game to be a part of world's most dangerous profession. No, it is not acting what we are talking about here; it is being an 'informer' which is turning out to be life threatening experience for him.
Chocolate boy Sameer who showed flashes of talent in Vikram Bhatt's LIFE MEIN KABHI KABHIE last year and is currently facing flak for supposedly comic DHOOM DADAKKA is now looking forward to the release of his long-in-the-making film MUKHBIIR.
The film was launched close to 2 years back but ever since then there has been just speculations around its release date. Though it was supposed to arrive way back into the year gone by, MUKHBIIR is now gearing up for a 20th June release.
Acquired by Pyramid Saimira which is looking at an all India release for the film, MUKHBIIR is now expecting to finally see the light of the day. The film is supposedly 'inspired' by Al Pacino starrer THE RECRUIT which was about 'A brilliant young CIA trainee who was asked by his mentor to help find a mole in the Agency'.
Directed by Mani Shankar who has earlier helmed projects like 16 DECEMBER, RUDRAKSH and TANGO CHARLIE, MUKHBIIR also stars Sunil Shetty, Om Puri, Rahul Dev and Jackie Shroff along with Raima Sen, Sushant Singh, Raj Zutshi and Kelly Dorjee.
In the film Sameer plays an informer who gets into the trap of a double cross from where it is difficult to escape.
