GOLMAAL RETURNS has enjoyed a terrific return and none other than Tusshar Kapoor is busy collecting all the acclaim and accolades coming his way.
"I was always quite confident about GOLMAAL RETURNS but then you can't always be too sure about any movie of yours. Touch wood. So it was always going to be a wait and watch approach for me. Fortunately the film has been doing excellent all over", says Tusshar Kapoor with a smile while being modest as ever.
"It was a family film for Diwali and the U certificate is a testimony of that. We were sure that kids and families would go for the movie", says Tusshar who has once again excelled in a comic outing. So is that the new found 'mantra' for Tusshar i.e. to feature in more and more comedies?
"More than comedies, I would say it's the entire 'cool' factor that works today most", Tusshar reasons, "SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA wasn't a comedy but had that cool factor to it. LIFE IN A...METRO was quite cool. ROCK ON wasn't a comedy but then it was cool. So you know, it's not that the youngsters only go for comedies; they walk in if they find something which is cool."
Sounding like a seasoned actor, Tusshar adds, "Even if you are experimenting with a film, it should at least 'look good' on the face value. You have to add some gloss and make the project look fresh and different. You can't pass of the entire 'bechara' thing to the audience and expect that they would come in hordes."
