Eesha Koppikhar is all smiles when she remembers her first meeting with her EK VIVAAH AISA BHI director Kaushik Ghatak. Though she is all praise for the film maker today, she admits that it was quite some surprise in store for her in the early days of meeting him.
"Kaushikda came across as so frail and meek that I was worried that he may just fly away with a 'hawa ka jhonka'. It was only after he started narrating the film that I realized how brilliant he was as a film maker", remembers Eesha who plays the central protagonist 'Chandni' in this Rajshri production.
She adds, "He is so sure about the subject he is dealing with and is very clear in his vision. He can in fact tell you everything about the shot division well in advance. During the narration itself, I was all tears and just wanted to face the camera with him calling the shots."
How was the experience shooting with him?
"I have worked with quite a few directors in the decade gone by and can claim that on Day One itself, you get to know whether the director knows his job or not. I was impressed the moment I shot for my first scene with him since he has a knack of portraying emotions so well. He is so fast and efficient that the film's shooting got wrapped up in 5 months flat. He is just fantastic", concludes Eesha.
