ADNAN SAMI

Fresh out of the Live–in concerts that were a mega success in cities like London, Scotland and Amsterdam, Adnan Sami has turned aggressive. So overwhelmed has he been with the response that his shows have garnered that he is all set to launch a World tour next.

"Response to the five Live–in concerts which I did at London, Scotland and Amsterdam was huge. There were talks that recession may impact these shows but that was not to be the case. Its success has now prompted me to go for the world tour in the coming spring. I would be targeting India as well US, Canada and Africa. The tour would be held in stages", divulges Adnan.

Doesn't that sound a little too aggressive?

"Well, man proposes and God disposes", smiles Adnan, "All we can do is plan out things well and leave the rest to the God. One should not loose hope."

Meanwhile felicitations and recognitions keep coming his way at regular intervals. During his tour, he was also honored by the House of Parliament in England for the work he has done in bringing cultures together through his music.

Confirms Adnan, "Yes, I was invited as they wanted to recognize an Asian who has influenced different cultures in UK. An entire delegation of cultural committee attended the show where I was awarded. It was indeed an honor."
