SORRY BHAI is just 4 days away and Onir is certain about the fact that all eyes would be on Chitrangda Singh comeback.
"After all it has been a huge responsibility for me as a film maker to present Chitrangda well", says Onir, "The world remembers her as a HAZARON KHWAHISHEN AISI woman and would be expecting a performance at par, if not better, in SORRY BHAI."
He is relieved though that Shabana Azmi, who plays an integral role in the film, has given Chitrangda a green light.
"After shooting with her, Shabana confided in me that Chitrangda reminded a lot of Smita Patil. Years back they worked together and now return of Chitrangda has made her nostalgic", Onir says fondly.
How was Chitrangda feeling when she had to share a common platform with an actor like Shabana?
"Frankly, in the initial days, she was quite nervous with Shabana around", divulges Onir, "This is when Shabana put her on ease and suggested that she stay on to be her natural self. I am blessed to have worked with such fine actors around me. There was never a sense of competition or insecurity that came in. Everyone wanted to actually act and behave as a family, just as is in the case of the film, and have fun."
