Paresh Rawal is always a force to reckon with. Regardless of the genre of the film he is working in, he always manages to stand out amidst the crowd. And now when there are three of them in OYE LUCKY LUCKY OYE (he plays a triple role in the film), it is expected that he would hog quite some limelight for himself. Doesn't that scare Abhay?
"Seriously speaking, it doesn't", says Abhay with a straight face, "It may sound like a cliché but as an actor you anyways would end up performing if you have a seasoned actor like Paresh in front of you. Moreover, the stage where he is in currently in his career, he is very secure. He is a complete gentleman and has proved over the years the kind of actor he is. He is not insecure and I don't think I have to say that. However, the fact is that I don't have any insecurity either."
But what if Paresh Rawal walks away with all the accolades? What if entire spotlight is on him after the film's release?
Smiles Abhay, "See, if someone wants the light then he/she can have it. It would come to an actor only if he deserves it. However, I know that the kind of person Paresh is; he doesn't look at just the limelight. He is completely into the shot and when someone like him comes with a good performance, you as an actor tend to become insecure. It's like a Catch 22 situation actually and you as an actor have to cope with it while working with a veteran like Paresh."
