Sadaa Sayed (yes, that's the name by which she would be known from KHALBALLI FUN UNLIMITED onwards) is happy that she had a rather long and fruitful career down South before she plunged into Bollywood.
"And that's because today I know my flaws and strengths", says Sadaa in an honest tone days before she would finally be making her debut in a Bollywood flick, "I don't come from a filmy background and didn't have any guidance when I started off. I began my stint with films in Telegu, Tamil and Malayalam and all of it added on to my learning experience."
"In my very first film, I didn't have any scope for make up. It was only through my subsequent films that I started learning about what looks good on screen and what doesn't. I know that as an actress, looking good is an essential requirement. This is why today when I face the camera for KHALLBALLI, LOVE KHICHDI or CLICK, I am confident about how I am carrying myself", she adds.
In a lighter vein, Sadaa goes on to say, "I started working in films six years back when I was fresh out of school. I was into my second semester of Engineering when I debuted with the Telugu film JAYAM. Today I feel it was the right decision to begin so soon. If I would have opted for completing my Engineering and then marking an entry into Bollywood, the lack of experience would have hampered my standing. Poora learning experience kaafi mehenga padta!"
Her parting statement? "I strongly believe that jo hota hai wo achche ke liye hi hota hai! In South, I could afford criticism coming my way since I was quite young then but here in Bollywood, it wouldn't have been possible today."
