A WEDNESDAY has turned out to be one of the most bona fide and consistent success stories of the current season. The film has been doing well in spite of dozen odd movies which have come after its release and is busy minting money even as it reaches 50 days at the box office. No wonder, Anupam Kher is an elated man.

"For me, working on A WEDNESDAY was as satisfying and involving as say, a SHOLA AUR SHABNAM", says Anupam Kher who has benefited immensely out of the meaty role he got to play in this Neeraj Pandey film, "If I am convinced about a role, genre doesn't matter. It may be a comedy, thriller or a love story – the subject should interest me. Entertainment has many meanings and I believe A WEDNESDAY had it in ample doses."

No wonder, so excited was Anupam Kher about working on the film that he slashed his price for A WEDNESDAY.

"Not just me, even Naseer bhai slashed his price for the film. We both worked at one–third of our market price. But that's ok, this time around the role was bigger than money and I am glad we all worked together to make A WEDNESDAY the film it is today", says Anupam Kher.

Apparently, it hadn't taken him much time to say yes to the role.

"I was so convinced about the script the moment Neeraj narrated it to me. In fact I didn't even ask him that who were the other people acting in the film; I just went ahead with my instinct. And am I not glad with my decision", concludes Anupam Kher.
