Ever since the film RAAZ – THE MYSTERY CONTINUES has been announced, there have been expectations galore. Reasons are manifold for that. The film comes in the wake of super success of RAAZ which had released 6 years back and while RAAZ had Bipasha Basu as the center of attraction, the latest in the series features Emraan Hashmi in the lead.

However, the biggest factor which makes RAAZ – THE MYSTERY CONTINUES a much anticipated project is its music. While Nadeem Shravan had churned out chartbuster tracks like 'Aapke Pyaar Mein', 'Jo Bhi Kasmein', 'Kitna Pyaara Hai', 'Tum Agar' and 'Itna Main Chahoon' amongst others for RAAZ, one waits to see how far does the music of the latest outing go.

'I know about the huge expectations that everyone has from the film. This is the reason why I went all out to ensure that the music turns out to be one of the biggest highlights of RAAZ – THE MYSTERY CONTINUES as well', says Mukesh Bhatt while revealing how he went ahead in his quest for getting the best tunes created for this Mohit Suri directed film, 'Believe it or not but I heard 1500 tunes before finalizing the soundtrack for the film. The process continued for around 8–9 months before I gave my green signal to the final songs.'

Talking about the composers for the film, Bhatt informs, 'Between them, Raju Singh, Toshi, Pranay and Gaurav Das have created 5 songs in the film and mark my words, each one of the songs would make a huge mark for itself. Though yet again, the tunes have a melodic base to them, I won't say that they are in the same mould as RAAZ. If that was the case, the purpose of doing something new and exciting for the film would have been defeated.'

'We are in 2008 and RAAZ music had arrived in 2002. It has been a long journey since then and times have changed. This is why you hear some fresh arrangements and use of orchestra in the film's songs. We at Vishesh Films have always believed in coming up with a progressive score and RAAZ – THE MYSTERY CONTINUES is no different', says Bhatt who is bringing the film into the theaters in January 2009.
