Farooq Sheikh, once called the golden boy of the off-beat cinema with a number of delightful hit ventures (especially comic flicks) under his belt is all set to return to the big screen after a long gap. His numerous fans still love and swear by superlative, heartwarming performances in CHASHME BADDOOR, SAATH SAATH, BAZAAR and KATHA to name a few.

When we had met him five years ago at the famous Karim Restaurant in New Delhi, and queried him about his return to the silver screen, Farooq was very specific when he said ''I will do another film only when I find the right subject and script.'' And with SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX it appears that Farooq's wait for the right subject is over. Farooq says that the film is a very clean comedy and never in any frame does one cringe or feel uncomfortable. It is a film that talks about women empowerment in a light hearted manner. All the characters are believable and the audience will be able to relate to them and their problems as well as solutions.

Farooq Sheikh is positive that SAAS BAHU AUR SENSEX will appeal to the sensibilities of the normal Hindi film lover and is sure that it will meet with a good response when it releases this Friday, 19th September.
