UFO Moviez, world's largest satellite based digital cinema network, has taken Andhra Pradesh by storm by setting up a record 55 screens in just ten days with the help of its franchisee Southern Digital Screenz India Private Limited (SDS). This was a part of UFO's strategy to aggressively release of the biggest blockbuster Telugu film of the decade MAGADHEERA, starring Ram Charan Tehja son of Chiranjeevi, produced by Mr. Allu Arvind who also produced GHAJINI and Directed by SS Raja Mouli the ace director from AP. According to experts, this development is set to change the box office collection scenario in AP and will have far reaching impact on the already buoyant film industry in south India.

UFO Moviez, marketed extensively by Southern Digital Screenz India Private Limited (SDS) in Andhra, has already converted more than 200 cinemas in less than 50 days in southern India. Infact, SDS has installed UFO equipment digitizing 750 theatres in last 6 months. SDS has made representations on behalf of UFO Moviez to various motion picture industry bodies, viz., Chamber of Commerce, The Film Nagar Club, Several Production and Distribution Houses, Telugu Producer's Council, etc. and this is perceived as a giant effort, first of its kind in film industry, ahead of some major releases. Some of the premier forthcoming films on the digital cinema platform of UFO SDS are expected to be Junior NTR film ADHURS, Nagarjuna's son starrer Chaitanya movie titled JOSH, Ravi Teja's ANJANEYALU, Vikram's MALLANNA in the near future.

On this significant development, Mr. Rajesh Mishra, CEO - Indian Operations, UFO Moviez, said, "We have tactically decided to launch ourselves coinciding with the release of the mega film MAGADHEERA aggressively in Andhra Pradesh. The efforts of UFO SDS are to add more screens to provide the benefit of UFO digital platform to the theatre owners and the audiences."

Expressing his excitement, Dr. Usman Faiyaz, Chairman, Southern Digital Screenz, said, "We are thrilled with the level of activity in Andhra and astonished to have received over 200 applications for digitization in the last 3 months. We plan to covert 1000 cinema to UFO's digital cinema platform in Andhra in the ensuing 6 months. This increasing demand for digitalized screens goes to prove that Indian audiences have started valuing timely and quality movies watching experience."
