He is one of the most prolific filmmakers of Bollywood. Known for his off beat films, Ram Gopal Verma or RGV is basking in the limelight of his forthcoming release AGYAAT. The film promises to bring forth Ramu's obsession of scaring the audiences once again.

The dark theme seems to be the magic formula of this maverick filmmaker. Though his gangster films have created a benchmark in that genre, his attempts at scaring the audiences have been largely less impressive. Well, let's hope AGYAAT reverses this fact.

CHECK OUT: AGYAAT is shot in a manner as never before

Though, RGV is trying every trick in the trade to become the box-office wizard again, we wonder why doesn't he cast the big Khans in his films. Pose this question to him and this is what he has to say, ''I never write my films keeping the star cast in mind. I haven't though about Khan's while doing so. Well, working with them depends on the subject I'm attempting and whether they fit into it or not.''

Reports are that RGV is desperately looking to woo the audiences with his film AGYAAT this time around. Well, let's hope Ramu's dreams ring true lest his scary genre becomes a scary subject for him.
