After his success marathon at the Bollywood box-office, Aamir Khan is all set to extend his popularity to the regional cinema as well. Now, news is that Aamir will play the lead in the Hindi version of a popular Marathi film that will be directed by Mangesh Hadawale who earlier made the much acclaimed Marathi film TINGYA.

hough Aamir is yet to hear the narration of Hadawale's upcoming film, buzz is that the filmmaker has already roped in Disney Movies who will be producing the film which is tentatively titled TICKET.

It must be recalled that TINGYA was a highly successful film and was in the run for Oscars along with TAARE ZAMEEN PAR. The filmmaker is waiting for the final nod from Aamir and the film is set to be shot early next year.
