New Delhi saw the cast and crew of the film KISAAN who came for the premier at Waves, Noida. The star-cast of Sohail Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures' film KISAAN came to the national capital to address the media on the film touted to be this season's most hard-hitting drama. Cast and crew present included Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Jackie Shroff, Dia Mirza, Nauheed Cyrusi, Romeo and Director Punit Sira.
Sohail Khan had to speak a lot of Punjabi for KISAAN and said, ''It's my first raw-and-real film. And my Punjabi is very dubious. I had to polish it up before I could face the camera. But it's okay. I like wearing different hats especially for my brothers.'' Even Jackie Dada had to leave his trademark ''beedu'' style to speak authentic Punjabi.
On asking why they chose such an unusual subject as the theme of the film, this is what Arbaaz Khan had to say, ''Farmer deaths have reached an all time high in our country. It's not like it's a problem that has just started. On the contrary, it's a problem our country has been facing for centuries. We just decided to make a film on the basic difficulty faced by our motherland. I am very happy with the way the film has turned out and hope the audience appreciates our hard work.''
