CHANCE PE DANCE is all set to release in January and no wonder, Ken Ghosh is excited. The film had a few bumps on its way but now that the final product is ready and waiting to reach out to audiences, Ken can look back at the journey with a smile.
"Our concentration was primarily on making a good film", says Ken who is working with Shahid Kapoor for the third time after ISHQ VISHK and FIDA, "There was a lot that happened during the making of the film but that's ok. At the end of the day, a film maker does face such trials and tribulations but I am glad that we are through it."
It was Jiah Khan's exit mid-way through the film that had made headlines a few months back. Genelia D'Souza was roped in pronto and some of the major scenes in the film were re-shot. Though the makers (Ken Ghosh and UTV) took a confident stance throughout, there was some negativity that surrounded the film.
CHECK OUT : Shahid and Priyanka's cross connection!
"Yes, there was some negativity but ultimately it's the final product that matters most", says Ken, "For audiences out there, none of them will remember that what really went into the making of the film."
How about Shahid Kapoor? He certainly appeared to be the pillar of support even though he had to shoot quite a few scenes again.
"Shahid has this endearing never-say-die attitude", says Ken in appreciation of his star actor, "Whatever trouble that life throws at him, he can always be seen smiling at that. I love this quality of his."
