His ROCKET SINGH - SALESMAN OF THE YEAR is all set for release and industry is keeping its fingers crossed to see if he would complete his hat trick with the film. Meanwhile his pairing with Katrina Kaif in her biggest ever romantic HIT is making one wonder if the duo would be seen together in many more films for next few years at the least.

One can't deny the fact that as AJAB PREM...was coming closer to it's release, it was the star quotient that aroused huge curiosity around the film. After all, everyone wanted to know how the first time 'jodi' of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif looked on screen.

"Katrina is amongst the biggest stars today so naturally she carries a huge fan following. What worked best in our partnership was the common passion that we have for movies. We both believe in working hard and I guess that reflected on screen. She has been around for a longer period than me and has worked in a dozen odd films, so that also made a huge difference", gushes Ranbir.

CHECK OUT: Katrina's Hi-Hello costs Rs 80 lakh

Coming to the original question, can it be safely assumed that they are the hottest pair in demand? And does this further translate into the fact that Ranbir-Katina is the 'next best pair'?

"See, AJAB has worked but then you can't claim to have a strategy in place where just the presence of both of us could guarantee a successful outing. Tomorrow, we may be seen together in a worse movie possible and the 'hottest pair' tag may no more be valid. So you know, you have to still select projects individually on their own merit", says Ranbir in a guarded tone.

Well, though one is not quite sure if Ranbir and Katrina are paired opposite each other in their next release RAAJNEETI but the fact remains that if that film too succeeds, audiences as well as industry would certainly be rooting for them to be sharing a common frame in many more films to come.
