Priyanka Chopra believes that PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE is not just one of the sweetest films that she has done but also the simplest ever. So much so that she insists audiences to come with the expectations of enjoying a teeny-weeny romantic comedy rather than believing that they are in for a classic like 'Mughal-E-Azam'.
"Please don't look for any complications in PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE because there aren't any", says Priyanka Chopra when questioned about the basic feel and setting of this Jugal Hansraj directed love film, "It's not necessary that all love stories have to be complicated. So many times it is the simplicity factor that comes out trumps and PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE is one such film."
She is understandably guarded while describing PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE where she is paired along with Uday Chopra for whom it is a comeback of sorts. The actor who made his debut nine years back with MOHABBATEIN (2000) was last seen in DHOOM 2 (2006). Ever since then he has been pretty much into oblivion and has resurfaced now with this film that is also produced by him and presented under Yash Raj Films banner.
"Please don't start hunting for a classic tale a la MUGHAL-E-AZAM here because that was never the intent", Priyanka flashes that million dollar smile, "We wanted to make a feel good fun film that can be identified by the teen and youth and tells their story while keeping the entertainment value intact. One should just enter the theatre with bag full of popcorn and enjoy those couple of hours."
PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE is the story of a geek Abhay (Uday Chopra) who falls in love with the most beautiful girl in the campus Alisha (Priyanka Chopra). While everyone believes that this love story would be of impossible proportions due to an odd pairing like this, some also wonder if fate would get them both together and this 'pyaar' would indeed turn out to be 'possible'.
