Director Sangeeth Sivan's thriller EK - THE POWER OF ONE is now ready for release and is all set for a late March release. Starring Nana Patekar, Bobby Deol and Shreya Sharan in the principal roles, this film which is a remake of Telugu hit ATAHDU is looking at bringing back action on the big screen.
Meanwhile Sangeeth, who likes to call his film as 'DIE HARD meets DDLJ', has gone all out to ensure that the film boasts of a slick viewing experience.
While Bobby Deol is back in an action role, what also makes headlines is Nana Patekar's appearance as a CBI officer in the film. He is a man shown on Bobby's trail but unlike the rough personality he is associated with in most of the films, here he is shown as a man with a great sense of humor.
On asked about this, Sangeeth says, ''Nana has a superb role in the film. In fact he has some of the best one liners you would have heard in a long time. He is shown as someone who associates every situation with a female and that makes him a colorful character on screen!''
This isn't the first time that Sangeeth Sivan has made an action thriller though. Long before he embraced success with comedies like APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY and KYA KOOL HAIN HUM, he had made Sunny Deol starrer ZOR.
Reportedly, EK - THE POWER OF ONE now sees 'chita bhai' Bobby Deol as a man with grey shades.
