After a lot of deliberation, ALOO CHAAT has finally been confirmed for a 13th March release. Though over the last few weeks there were quite some change in plans (this Friday was one of the probable days for the film's release till a few weeks back), it was eventually decided that the film would arrive in the month of March. The moment this decision was made, promotional and marketing campaign for the film began on full swing and the result is some good visibility that the film is enjoying amongst the movie buffs.

''After the experience of MP3 - MERA PEHLA PEHLA PYAAR, I wanted to be doubly sure about the release timing for ALOO CHAAT. So many times a film can suffer just because it hasn't been released at the right time or not been promoted well. I have seen it for myself with my last release which came with five other movies. Obviously, it suffered in a big way'', says Robby who has changed genres with ALOO CHAAT and from a teenage romance, he has moved on to a 'teekhi-meethi' love story.

CHECK OUT: ALOO CHAAT is a Hrishikesh Mukherjee kind of film

He goes on to add, ''When you have a medium budget plan for your film, you have to be careful about the release strategy and how you are bringing film to the audience. Eventually there is no point in getting cluttered with other releases because automatically, chances of any of the film getting noticed become minimal''.

He is happy though that over a period of time, feedback on MP3 - MERA PEHLA PEHLA PYAAR has been mainly positive. ''Whoever I have met has told me that he/she liked the film. It's just that on its release, people didn't know about it. It was a setback because it wasn't marketed well. I just wish that more people had gone to theaters because majority of audience had seen it on TV. Well, now I would want them to go to theaters and watch ALOO CHAAT. TV can wait'', he signs off with a smile.
