When it rains it pours. And none other than Randeep Hooda would be able to explain this best, what with three of his films looking at releasing between February and March 2009. These are MERE KHWABON MEIN JO AAYE, RANG RASIYA and KARMA AUR HOLI.
First to come would be MERE KHWABON MEIN JO AAYE that has been confirmed for a 6th February. A PVR Pictures production, it is directed by first timer Madhureeta Anand and also stars Raima Sen and Arbaaz Khan. A film about love marriage and adultery, MERE KHWABON MEIN JO AAYE is supposed to be a unique romantic comedy.
On the other hand things get serious with RANG RASIYA which has so far been much hyped for Nandana Sen going topless for a key sequence in the film. A biopic, it stars Randeep in the role of controversial painter Raja Ravi Varma. Ketan Mehta has directed this film which has already traveled festival circuits and would now be releasing all over on 27th February. Other than Randeep and Nandana, the film boasts of an interesting cast comprising of Paresh Rawal, Aashish Vidyarthi, Sachin Khedekar, Darshan Jariwala and Rajat Kapoor.
However, Randeep won't be busy just with the promotion of these two films. His much delayed KARMA AUR HOLI (earlier titled KARMA, CONFESSIONS AUR HOLI) too would finally be seeing the light of the day sometime in March. Though one still wonders where has the entire 'confessions' part about the film disappeared, the film still be an interesting watch considering it would bring back the old memories of Randeep Hooda and Sushmita Sen who were once a couple. Directed by Manish Gupta, it also stars Naomi Campbell along with Rati Agnihotri, Suresh Oberoi, Suchitra Krishnamurthy and Deepal Shaw.
