It's a known fact that actor Salman Khan likes to keep his professional and personal life apart. Salman never allowed any of his family members or friends to interfere in his professional work. But this is the first time that the actor personally requested his father Salim Khan to check scripts, which were offered to him.

Apparently, Salman Khan had to take this step to save his fading career. He had four flops - GOD TUSSI GREAT HO, HEROES, HELLO, YUVVRAAJ - last year and his performance was highly criticized. It seems after the back-to-back Box Office duds, Salman Khan now wants a second and more expert opinion on the scripts he signs. And who better than his scriptwriter father Salim?

Salim Khan who has scripted many remarkable films like ZANJEER, DEEWAR and SHOLAY, is now busy reading and finalizing scripts on beta Salman Khan's behalf. And with daddy dear's backing and expertise, we can only hope that 2009 brings success in the actor's life.
