The Varun Khanna directed BAD LUCK GOVIND is Hrishita Bhatt's latest film in a full-fledged role, after a spate of guest appearances and dance numbers. So, what made the ASOKA babe accept the role with a relatively unknown (for Bollywood) director, Varun Khanna, we wondered? So, we decided to ask Hrishita herself.
Hrishita has this interesting observation about Varun and the film, "Working with Varun Khanna was a totally different experience. Varun has made two crossover films in Hollywood and it was a learning experience for me. In fact there was so much to learn from his easy going approach to filmmaking and his practical style. He made me go for a less make-up look in the film, in order to suit my character, that of a physiotherapist."
BAD LUCK GOVIND is a comedy with a social message that there is nothing called bad luck, it's just our actions and deeds that bring about good or bad luck. And the proverb, As You Sow, So Shall You Reap is the message that is given to the audience in a light hearted manner, without being preachy and making things morose.
