Ask Mohit Suri if he was spooked during the filming of horror flick RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES and be rest assured that you will hear him laughing. Reason? He insists that much more than being spooked with the visuals of the film, he has been more worried about the box office outcome of RAAZ - TMC and how audience would be looking at it.
'If you ask me, I am truly spooked today with the film being less than a fortnight away', says Mohit Suri who has left the disappointment of AWARAPAN behind him and focused all his energies on the Emraan Hashmi-Kangna Ranaut-Adhyayan Suman starrer, 'After you give 15 months of your life on your project, it becomes a really scary situation, much more than possibly what you feel during watching a horror flick.'
He must be confident though, isn't it, considering the buzz about the film is strong?
'I have completely lost perspective on the film after working for so long on RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES', says a nervous sounding Mohit, 'The very thought of the film finally going out of my hands and being open to the world is scary enough.'
He goes on to share an interesting anecdote. 'Filmmaker Ken Ghosh told me even before I started work on RAAZ - TMC that while making a horror flick, the only person who can really mess it up is a director. I fully agree with him today. It is tough to be making a film belonging to this genre because one has to be so conscious about filming the scenes. Even if you go wrong for a few seconds, the film can go out of your hands. Now I know that the only person who could have messed up RAAZ-TMC, it was me. Well, I hope I haven't', smiles Mohit.
