Amrita Rao knows that VICTORY is a Harman Baweja film and even though she has done far more number of movies than him, she truly appreciates the kind of performance that the young man has come up with in his second film.
''What I like about Harman is his never say die attitude. He is always very gung ho about what he is doing. The way he has played the character is absolutely fascinating. In fact what appealed me most about his performance was that he wasn't acting as a cricketer. He prepared so very well for the role and picked up the entire body language of a cricketer. These are the finer nuances that matter'', says Amrita Rao who was seen in WELCOME TO SAJJAPUR, MY NAME IS ANTHONY GONSALVES and SHAURYA last year.
When LOVE STORY 2050 bombed, wasn't she worried that she had VICTORY releasing soon with Harman? Didn't it put an additional pressure on her?
''If one really checks the track records of actors, the best of us haven't had the best of debuts'', defends Amrita Rao, ''Even I had a faulty beginning with AB KE BARAS; it had failed at the box office. So you know, you can't predict such things or start assessing an actor after one flop. Success or failure is not in your hand; what matters though is that your passion as an actor shouldn't die. This is where Harman excels so much. He continued to work extra hard and made sure that he gave it all to his role.''
She says fondly, ''There is no flaw in his acting in VICTORY and when you sense that he is not acting for camera, it itself tells a lot about the kind of training he must have gone through. I will give him 100% marks. We all really wish him luck.''
