It's learnt that Salman Khan is a voracious reader and loves to flip through world literature. It was during such a literary sojourn that he discovered the inspiration for his upcoming film VEER.

When Salman discovered the book TARAS BULBA written by the Russian writer Nikolai Gogol, he instantly got inspired to make a film on similar lines. And this is how the story of his upcoming film VEER came about.
