Mani Ratnam's RAAVANA has been constantly grabbing the headlines, and most of them have to do with the delay in the shooting due to some unfortunate reason or the other.
Apart from the problems related to the permission regarding shooting in the jungles of Kerala to Mani Ratnam's health worries (his heart attack), there has arose a problem of a different kind, usually seen when a perfectionist director like Ratnam is at the helm of affairs.
We now have news from very reliable sources that RAAVANA is being re-shot and this schedule will take place for a period of over two months in Ooty and Kerala. Apparently Mani is not satisfied with some portions of the film which he had shot and so he has decided to go in for a long re-shoot in order to make things right. All the main cast and crew is expected to be present. And some new actors may also be included as per the necessity of the story.
Starring the South sensation, the actor with the amazing screen presence, Vikram, the hot and happening Abhishek Bachchan, fresh from the success of DOSTANA, the world's most beautiful actress, Aishwarya Rai, former hero No 1, Govinda and Nikhil Dwivedi of MY NAME IS ANTHONY GONSALVES fame, RAAVANA is certainly one of the most anticipated movies and here's hoping for a smooth re-shoot.
