Imtiaz Ali and Saif Ali Khan are indeed thinking out of the box. For their next theatrical promo, they have shot down the conventional approach of showing dialogues with glimpses of song and dance thrown in. Instead, it would now be a 90 second promo which will primarily feature the chartbuster track 'Aahun Aahun'. This would be a first since majority of promos look at showcasing the film as it approaches near its release. However, in case of LOVE AAJ KAL, it would be 'Aahun Aahun' which will be the center of attraction.
''Yes, we are looking at promoting this number aggressively since the video is arriving quite close to the film's release'', says Imtiaz who is aware that 'Twist' and 'Chor Bazari' have already hit the bull's eye, '''Aahun Aahun' is too good a song to be kept on hold for long. We want audiences to see the song in its 90 minutes duration in theaters. It should add on to the buzz for the film.''
A true blue fusion piece that has various flavours of Punjabi, Hindi as well as English coming together not just lyrically but also musically, 'Aahun Aahun' has a HIT written all over it. Whether it's the way Pritam puts together his entire composition in place (a difficult one at that), Irshad brings the young flavour on or singers Neeraj Sridhar, Master Saleem and Suzanne set the perfect mood, 'Aahun Aahun' is a winner. With choreographer Bosco taking care of the rest, the song is all set to be a rage in weeks to come.
''The promo would be seen beginning 24th July once LUCK releases. Before the arrival of LOVE AAJ KAL (on 31st July), we would be looking at splashing the song all over'', informs Imtiaz.
