Earlier this week we had broken the news about director Ashutosh Gowariker's visit to Himachal Pradesh in search of locations for his ambitious project, BUDDHA, which is being made under the banner of the telecom giants, Spice Infotainment. And as always here is the latest!
As per sources Ashutosh Gowariker, Spice group chairman B.K. Modi and the technical team of the 100 crore BUDDHA have reached the twin city of Dharamshala-McLeodganj, which is also the headquarter of the Dalai Lama. Gowariker has captured on camera certain exotic locations of Baijnath, Palampur and upper reaches of Dharamshala, including the majestic snow capped peaks of the Dhauladhar mountain range.
The team will next proceed to other locales of Himachal that we have already informed you about and once these are finalized the actual shooting of BUDDHA is likely to commence later this year or early 2010.
