If in IPL, it was ZooZoo that caught on everyone's imagination with some rather cute looking commercials, Hrithik Roshan has proved that he is the ultimate star by delivering a heart warming performance in multiple commercials that have been rolled out during the ongoing ICC tournament for another mobile company.
Ever since ICC 20:20 has been kick started; the aforementioned commercials featuring Hrithik have created quite a stir due to their emotional appeal. Featuring Hrithik as himself - THE SUPERSTAR - who one fine day wakes up to reach out to his friends from the past, the commercials have more often than not led to moist eyes or full on smile due to their high impact narrative.
So whether it is Hrithik reaching out to his school teacher from his younger days or his friends - one of them holidaying while fishing; another in a board room meeting (it's the pick of the lot) - or one of his teenager female fans or the old light man from his earlier films, each of the commercials has worked in a big way due to two major reasons - a) an excellent story told well in those mere 30 seconds and b) Hrithik's performance that is all about 'connection', something that works both at the story level as well as the branding that the mobile company is aiming it.
Move over ZooZoo, Hrithik is here. And he has managed to make a better 'connection'.
