Zapped. That's the best way to describe the emotion that you experience on having a dekko at the 2 minute long promo of LUCK. If the promo is any indication then Bollywood is all set to experience one of the best action thrillers that has ever been made on this side of the continent. Fantastic, fabulous and ferocious is the manner in which each frame of LUCK unfolds as a glimpse is provided around the novel plot that this film boasts of.
A film that promises a heavy adrenalin rush, LUCK has been completed in the times when another action thriller starring Sanjay Dutt, BLUE, has been in the news day in and night out. However, even though one patiently waits for BLUE to arrive (most likely on 16th October, the Diwali weekend), for action flick buffs there is a lot in the offering in the form of LUCK.
In a thrill-a-second saga, LUCK moves at a relentless pace as the ensemble cast is shown to be participating in a dare devil assignment (with a betting angle to it) where the final 'jackpot' boasts of a 20 crores win. This is not all as life and death form an integral part of the assignment where one error in judgement or change in luck could well result in a complete dead-end.
With high speed action, guns, blasts, choppers, trains, ships, casinos, deserts, night clubs and babes making this Soham Shah (of KAAL fame) a not-to-be-missed affair, one now looks forward to what more do the makers (Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd/Studio 18) have to offer en route to this flick's 24th July release.
Led by veteran actors Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty and Danny Denzongpa, the film stars Imraan Khan and (introducing) Shruti K. Haasan along with Ravi Kishan, Neha Oberoi, Rati Agnihotri, Chitrashi Rawat and debutant Snita Mahey.
