2009 seems to be a perfect year for Bhojpuri super star Ravi Kishan, with several big projects lined up. And one of them happens to be director Soham Shah's much touted film LUCK, where Ravi would be seen in quite a different avatar. It's being said that Ravi has quite an important part to play in the film.
Ravi talks about his role in the film and what all things he went through while shooting. ''This was a very challenging role of my career, to play a psycho-person. To get well-acquainted with my character, I had to watch the acts of several of animals on Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and National Geographic.''
''There are many stunt scenes as well, like I had to jump from Helicopter, swimming with dangerous Sharks in sea, which injured me in spite of all the tight security arrangements. Also, I escaped a major injury during a fight scene in train,'' reveals Ravi further.
The biggest achievement for Ravi Kishan in Bollywood has been in the film TERE NAAM, for which, he was nominated in the category of Best supporting actor at National Awards. Since 2001, Ravi has been pretty busy with Bhojpuri film industry, and has worked in more than 100 films. He also feels that the film LUCK will completely change his luck in Bollywood. ''For me, it is like a dream come true. I have been struggling in Bollywood since past 19 years, and now my hard work seems to be paying back,'' says Ravi in an exited tone.
Director Soham Shah is equally happy of having worked with Ravi Kishan. ''When I first saw Ravi in Big Boss, I at once decided to cast him in my film. And, I am glad to tell you that, he has done full justice with the role.''
